
The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) has achieved an important milestone by winning five prestigious regional awards in 2024 for human resources development and women’s empowerment. This achievement underscores MODON’s dedication to cultivating a dynamic and inspiring workplace.
MODON was honored as the “Preferred Employer” of the year and recognized for having the “Best Leadership Development” program in 2024. Furthermore, the authority secured the top position as the best government agency for promoting “Innovation in Employee Engagement” within the public and government sector across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

MODON secured second place in the “Innovation and Excellence in Employee Experience” category and third place for “Support and Empower Women.” The awards were announced at the HR Awards ceremony during the 12th GCC GOV HR Summit 2024 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Since 2001, MODON has focused on developing and managing industrial cities and technology zones in line with Saudi Arabia’s national priorities. Moreover, it collaborates with public and private sectors to boost industrial growth. As a result, 36 industrial cities now span over 209 million square meters, housing 6,882 industrial and 436 logistics facilities.
