Microsoft Arabia is the digital partner of IPTC in Riyadh

Microsoft has announced its involvement as a gold sponsor in the 2022 IPTC International Petroleum Technology Conference, which will be hosted by Saudi Aramco under the auspice of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The conference will take place at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center from February 21 to 23, 2022, to share views on recent advancements and achieve global recovery through sustainable energy reliance.

The sponsorship of the 2022 IPTC Worldwide Petroleum Technology Conference by four international organizations and industry groups specializing in the energy sector underpins the conference’s relevance.

It sponsors the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), the European Association of Geologists and Engineers (EAGE), the Society of Exploration Geophysics (SEG), as well as the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).

Microsoft and its technical partners will exhibit at the IPTC International Conference, which will be hosted at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center in Riyadh, in booth #3225.

Thamer Al-Harbi, the head of Microsoft Arabia, affirmed that Microsoft’s involvement in the IPTC International Petroleum Technology Conference in 2022 is a continuation of its participation in the 2020 edition.

“Microsoft Energy solutions have demonstrated their effectiveness in saving the environment and attaining ecological balance,” Al-Harbi says, “which has helped our partners achieve tangible results in lowering carbon emissions from the atmosphere.”
