Medina Journalists Association Hosts Workshop on ‘Being Prominent Journalist in AI Era’ by Al Suraihi

The Saudi Journalists Association in the Medina region held a workshop titled “How to Be a Prominent Journalist in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (AI),” presented remotely by specialized media trainer Majed Abdullah Al Suraihi via Zoom.
The workshop covered several key topics, including the characteristics of SMART goals for media professionals, the role of artificial intelligence in journalism, and the importance of accessing information sources to develop digital skills. Additionally, other topics included modern trends in communication, media professionals’ attitudes toward AI, and analyses for measuring content performance and addressing its ethics.
The training workshop witnessed a high turnout and significant interaction during the sessions, which lasted for over two hours of training.
Al Suraihi’s Efforts in Workshop
Branch manager Imad Al-Saadi praised coach Majid Abdullah Al Suraihi for his significant effort in the workshop and emphasized its importance for all trainees. Coach Al Suraihi expressed gratitude to the Saudi Journalists Association for its efforts in developing human resources for the media sector. He noted that the country is undergoing a digital transformation in all fields, particularly in media, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030. Moreover, this initiative supports the wise leadership’s goal of prioritizing human resource development, enabling the youth to contribute to national progress.
Coach Majed Abdullah Al Suraihi, a faculty member at Umm Al-Qura University, has spent the past 15 years developing and training numerous Saudi media stars, helping to empower national talent in the media sector.
