Mohammed Bin Salman College Shines at LEARN 2024, Advancing Saudi Vision 2030 Goals

Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College of Business and Entrepreneurship showcased its commitment to Saudi Vision 2030 at the inaugural LEARN event in Riyadh on 6 and 7 October 2024.

Workshops and Panel Discussions

Mohammed Bin Salman College actively engaged with attendees through various channels, including a workshop, two panel discussions, and an informational booth. Dr. Joel Evans, Associate Professor of Management and Academic Director of the Executive MBA Program, participated in a panel discussion titled “Developing Global Minds, Education, and Skills for the Modern World” on the event’s first day.

On the second day, Dr. Muhammad Azam Roomi, Professor of Entrepreneurship, shared valuable insights during the panel “Evolving Leaders for a Changing World: A New Paradigm for Executive Education.” These sessions highlighted Mohammed Bin Salman College’s approach to leadership and its alignment with Saudi Vision 2030’s goals.

Experiential Learning Through Case Studies

The workshop, “How to Master Business Concepts through Case Studies,” led by Dr. Khaldoon Al-Htaybat, emphasized the importance of case studies. He explained how they foster critical thinking and help apply theory to real-world scenarios, preparing students for the complexities of today’s economy. Mohammed Bin Salman College also highlighted its role as home to the Kingdom’s first case centre, reinforcing its leadership in education.

Dr. Zeger Degraeve, Dean of MBSC, expressed enthusiasm about the college’s involvement in LEARN. He stated, “We are happy to participate in progressive initiatives that align with Saudi Vision 2030.
