‘Made in Saudi’ Program Wins MMA SMARTIES Award

The Saudi Export Development Authority, represented by “Made in Saudi” Program, won the bronze award in the “Marketing via Digital Media” category at the MMA SMARTIES International Awards, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The Saudi Exports received this award for the influence of its effective media coverage for the second edition of the “Made in Saudi Arabia” exhibition.

This award celebrates campaigns that utilize the diverse advantages of digital platforms to create an engaging and integrated brand experience. Furthermore, an international committee of marketing experts and agency executives decides the winner of this award based on a number of specific performance evaluation metrics.

The MMA is the only business marketing association that brings together marketers, technology providers, and suppliers. It has more than 800 global corporate members and 14 regional offices.

The second edition of the “Made in Saudi” exhibition gained intensive media attention. It generated over a million impressions and more than 18,000 interactions on social media. Also, over 40 news outlets covered the event.

The exhibition provided visitors with a rich experience about national industries to reinforce loyalty and boost demand for local products among domestic and international consumers.

More than 100 national companies displayed their products, and over 60 agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) were signed on the sidelines of the exhibition.
