KSA Shines at New Delhi World Book Fair
Today, KSA inaugurated its pavilion at the 2024 New Delhi World Book Fair (NDWBF) as the guest of honor for this year’s edition. Notably, the pavilion is in Pragati Maidan in the Indian capital of New Delhi and will run from February 10th to 18th.
KSA’s participation, led by the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Authority, includes various cultural entities such as Heritage Authority, Music Authority, Film Authority. Notably, the aim is to showcase Saudi intellectual and cultural aspects to the Indian audience.
Alwan’s Announcements in Delhi Book Fair
Dr. Mohammed Hassan Alwan, CEO of the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Authority stressed Saudi culture’s global reach and creativity.
He added that KSA seeks to foster dialogue between cultures. Moreover, KSA highlights its unique culture and deep-rooted creativity through its participation in the New Delhi International Book Fair.
Alwan explained that the cultural system participating in the Saudi pavilion will contribute to continuing constructive dialogue between nations.
This aligns with the Ministry of Culture’s goal to boost international cultural exchange, part of the National Culture Strategy for Vision 2030.
What will KSA Present during Delhi Book Fair Event?
During the exhibition, KSA will host a varied cultural program, featuring seminars and dialogues with Saudi writers. Additionally, it will promote Saudi culture and highlight the national talents.
Also, there will be celebrations showcasing Saudi music, performing arts, and national dishes from various regions of the Kingdom. Furthermore, KSA will present a special display of books and manuscripts to introduce the rich cultural heritage of Saudi Arabia.
