The Federation of Saudi Chambers and the ‘National Centre for Marketing and Price Study’ signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on trade and investment between the Kingdom and Belarus. The National Centre for Marketing and Price Study is affiliated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Republic of Belarus, reported Saudi Press Agency.
The signing ceremony took place today at the Federation’s headquarters. Waleed Alorainan, the Acting Secretary of the Saudi Chambers Federation, and Mikalai Barysevich, the Director of the Belarusian National Centre for Marketing and Price Study signed the MoU.
The scope of cooperation includes the exchange of information related to trade, business environment, investment opportunities, production, and export. It also aims to assist Saudi and Belarusian companies in expanding into targeted markets.
Moreover, this would help the companies to organize joint research activities on marketing. These activities would boost trade prospects, explore ways of trade cooperation, and facilitate participation in trade exhibitions. It would also facilitate organizing events and economic forums, and exchanging trade delegations.
According to the memorandum of understanding, both parties will collaborate in providing support to investors, establishing business contacts and organizing international online training seminars.
Additionally, the two countries would exchange expertise on applying information technology and digital transformation in trade promotion. Thus, this will assist companies from both countries in accessing opportunities in both markets.
