The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in Riyadh, in partnership with Egypt’s Ministry of Communications and Etisal, organized the Saudi-Egyptian Technology Forum. Tech companies from both countries participated, aiming to strengthen their strategic partnership and promote entrepreneurship, technology investments, and digital economy growth in the region.
The meeting, attended by Egypt’s Ambassador Ahmed Farouk and Deputy Ministers Mohammed Al-Rubaian and Bassam Al-Bassam, discussed technological investment opportunities. The Ministry of Investment highlighted the Kingdom’s attractive investment environment in key sectors, including technology.
The forum included a workshop in which a number of Saudi and Egyptian companies participated to discuss ways to develop partnerships, enhance technology investments to expand market access between the two countries, as well as exchange expertise and explore new digital investment opportunities. In addition, there was an introductory tour of several programs and initiatives, including “The Garage” and “Code Center,” to inform participants about the latest projects and initiatives supporting digital entrepreneurship.
