Khaled Al-Faisal receives the Secretary of the Gulf Cooperation Council

Adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince of Makkah, Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, received, at the Emirate’s headquarters in Jeddah, the Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council (GCC) for the Arab States of the Gulf, Dr. Nayef bin Falah Al-Hajraf, and members of the council’s secretariat who came to greet him.

 Prince Khaled Al-Faisal valued the efforts of the GCC Secretariat to succeed and enhance the efforts and joint Gulf action, and some topics were discussed.

On the other hand, the Emir of Makkah chaired a meeting in the presence of the Mayor of the Holy Capital, Engineer Muhammad Al-Quwais, and some government sector officials, to review the initiative of removing visual distortion in the Holy Capital.

During the meeting, Prince Khaled Al-Faisal was briefed on the plans of the Municipality to address the elements of visual distortion in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and enhance efforts to improve the urban landscape, to achieve the objectives of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, which aims to activate the “Quality of Life” program within the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

According to the presentation, the initiative aims to remove visual distortion in the Holy Capital and provide a sustainable mechanism to update, monitor, follow-up, remove elements of visual distortion, and maintain the highest standards of implementation quality, to achieve residents’ satisfaction.
