The head of the Iranian Hajj and Visiting Organization and the Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah signed, on Tuesday, a memorandum of understanding to send Iranians to perform the rituals of the next season of Hajj.
The negotiations and the signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding took place in a completely friendly atmosphere. This is because the two sides exchanged opinions and views on issues related to the performance of Hajj rituals for the next season.
The memorandum of understanding details will be clarified for the upcoming Hajj season. This will be after the return of the head of the Iranian Hajj and Visiting Organization, Sadiq Hosseini, and his accompanying delegation to Tehran.
Earlier, the Iranian minister had traveled to the Kingdom after an invitation was sent to him by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. This invitation was to conduct negotiations regarding the share of Iranian pilgrims for the upcoming Hajj season.
