
Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef held bilateral meetings with executives from major industrial and mining firms in Hanoi during his official visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The discussions focused on potential partnerships and investment opportunities in the industrial and mining sectors. Participants reviewed the goals of Saudi Arabia’s National Industrial Strategy, the unique prospects available in mining, and promising sectors such as food industries and automotive manufacturing. They also highlighted the Kingdom’s competitive investment environment, supported by a wide range of enablers and incentives designed to facilitate investor engagement.
The meetings further emphasized Saudi Arabia’s strategic strengths as a global investment hub, including its location at the crossroads of three continents, rich natural resources, competitive energy costs, advanced infrastructure, modern industrial cities, and streamlined government procedures.
Minister Alkhorayef also met with senior leaders from prominent Vietnamese companies, including VinFast, a pioneer in electric vehicle manufacturing; Masan Group, which operates in mining and the food sector; and Southern Food Corporation, specializing in food and halal products.
The sessions were attended by National Industrial Development Center (NIDC) Chief Executive Eng. Saleh Al-Solami and senior officials from the Kingdom’s industrial and mineral resources system.
These engagements aimed to strengthen bilateral economic ties, enhance cooperation in industrial and mining fields, and attract high-quality investments to the Kingdom.
