India: King Salman orders to evacuate a Saudi family infected with coronavirus
Following King Salman bin Abdulaziz’s orders, the Air Medical Evacuation Department of the Ministry of Defense’s Health Services moved a Saudi family infected with coronavirus from India back to Saudi Arabia.
The air medical evacuation plane arrived at King Salman Air Base after a 15-hour flight with all preventive measures taken to combat the spread of the virus.
It’s worth noting that medical evacuation planes have transferred more than 74 covid-infected patients without exposing the medical and flight crew to contamination.
The latest statistics related to the global epidemic showed the number of injuries rose to more than 154 million. Deaths rose to 3.4 million, while recovery cases reached a bit more than 143 million.
On Tuesday, the total number of coronavirus infections in India exceeded 25 million after 263,533 new ones were detected during the past 24 hours. Likewise, the number of daily Covid-19 deaths reached a record level: 4,329 cases. India has become the second country in the world, after the United States, exceeding 25 million infections.
