HRH Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz praises historical importance of Diriyah
His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh region, praised the historical importance of Diriyah as it is the starting point of this country and the basis from which its heralds emerged.
It represents the milestone in caring for heritage towards the fulfillment of the Kingdom’s vision 2030.It always receives support from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Diriyah Gate Development Authority.
The Governor of Riyadh region expressed his pride in what he saw of integrated projects in heritage and mankind and the high value that it will add to the Riyadh region in advance thanking everyone for their useful contributions, appreciating their efforts and creativity.
Meanwhile the CEO of the Diriyah Gate Development Authority, Jerry Inzrillo, gave an explanation of the programs, plans for the rehabilitation of Diriyah and its construction stages.
It extends over an area of 7 sqkm and includes a variety of markets, museums, galleries, academies that serve the cultural goals of the Kingdom, a special international race track for a Formula race and many of the world’s leading restaurants, cafes and hotels.
The Prince of Riyadh thanked the sponsors of the forum and all supporters for their contribution to social responsibility and constructive national initiatives for this group.
