The award ceremony notably highlighted the “Innovation in Desalination Industry” conference’s crucial segment. Held from September 30 to October 3, 2023, at Jeddah’s Ritz Carlton, the event spotlighted pivotal desalination advancements and practices.

He also warmly congratulated the winners, lauding their noteworthy achievements and capabilities in this crucial sector. The Kingdom, producing an impressive 11.5 million cubic meters daily, showcases its dedication to water resource sustainability and demonstrates its leadership in global water production.

Similarly, Nick Heineman, Hani Said, and Quantum Wei from the Netherlands and the USA also took the spotlight. Their projects showcased Global Innovation, ranging from advanced desalination membranes to widespread use of solar-thermal desalination systems. Furthermore, they explored digital, simulation-assisted dual desalination stations, presenting a promising future in water desalination technology.
