GASGI Appoints Fatima Al-Shammari Spokesperson

The General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information (GASGI) appointed Fatima bint Fahd Al-Shammari as a spokesperson and media advisor. She will be responsible for enhancing media and communication performance to achieve the authority’s goals and aspirations, reported News 24.

Who is Al-Shammari ?

Al-Shammari has diverse relationships and experiences in the media, communication, and public relations thanks to her experiences inside and outside the Kingdom.

Moreover, she participated in a number of international and local conferences, dialogue sessions, and local and international workshops.

The new spokesperson holds a Master’s degree in Project Management and Technology Leadership and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Management from the United States. She has numerous contributions and scientific theses in media and relations.

GASGI works to regulate and monitor the survey and geospatial information sector to improve performance. It targets the government, private and academic sectors as well as individuals, contributing to the provision of geospatial information.

Saudi Arabia issued a decision to appoint Abeer Al Aql as the Royal Commission for AlUla Governorate new CEO in Saudi Arabia, following the arrest of former CEO Amr Bin Saleh Abdulrahman Al-Madani on charges of corruption , reported News24.

Who is  Abeer Al-Aql?

Abeer Al-Aql joined the Royal Commission for AlUla in 2017.

In addition, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from King Saud University and completed the Leadership Development Program at Harvard University.

Furthermore, Al-Aql held several leadership positions, the most recent of which was the Head of Private Initiatives and Partnerships at the Royal Commission for AlUla.

Prior to that, the new CEO held prominent positions such as the Director of Strategic Delivery Management in the commission.
