FSC Unveils Launch of Saudi-Slovak Joint Business Council

Slovak President Peter Pellegrini has welcomed the President of Federation of Saudi Chambers (FSC) Hassan Al-Huwaizi and other Saudi investors in Bratislava.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the visit aims basically to explore investment opportunities between both countries.

At the beginning, the Slovak President stressed his country’s interest and readiness to provide Saudi investors with all required facilities and support.

In the light of this, Pellegrini noted Slovakia’s commitment to boost Saudi-Slovak economic ties, emphasizing Saudi Arabia’s unprecedented economic advancements, particularly in emerging non-oil sectors.

Crucially, the meeting witnessed the official launch of the Saudi-Slovak Joint Business Council, marking a significant milestone in the bilateral relations between both countries.

FSC’s President reviewed the latest developments in the Saudi economy and the Kingdom’s efforts to empower the private sector and foster the business environment to capture more local and international investments.

Then, Saudi-Slovak Business Council chairman Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al-Otaishan stated that the council will offer various plans to leverage from comparative advantages of both countries.

Furthermore, it will focus on targeted economic sectors to boost trade and investments between the two countries.

It is worth mentioning that trade between Saudi Arabia and Slovakia currently records SAR1.8 billion.
