ELM, established as a limited liability company on June 8, 1988, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It
started as the first research company owned by the National Information Center.
Its primary goal was to transfer technology from around the world under the name “Elm Research and Development Company”. The company made significant strides in electronic services in Saudi Arabia.
ELM’s Journey to a Public Company
By 2007, ELM had evolved into a joint stock company owned by the Public Investment Fund. Subsequently, this transformation was officially recognized by a royal decree on November 13, 2007.
Moreover, ELM’s public offering on February 16, 2022, was a landmark event. Consequently, 24 million ordinary shares, representing 30% of its capital, attracted substantial institutional and individual investor interest.
