Diriyah Company has launched its Media and Innovation District at MIPIM 2025 in Cannes, marking a transformative leap for tech, media, and communications. This future-focused hub will foster collaboration between global innovators and local talent through cutting-edge infrastructure and sustainable design.
Spanning 250,000 sq m, the district offers 450 residences, 15,000 sq m of retail space, and diverse dining options. It will host media networks, creative agencies, and tech leaders in light-filled workspaces prioritizing sustainability.
Luxury Living Meets Sustainability
The 325-room luxury 1 Hotel Diriyah debuts as the brand’s first Middle East property, crafted with local materials and eco-conscious practices. Nearby, the 20,000-seat Diriyah Arena will amplify the district’s cultural and entertainment appeal.
Diriyah Company revealed strong interest from broadcasters, tech giants, and investors at MIPIM. The $63.2 billion masterplan includes 40 hotels, 18,000+ luxury homes, and 1.6 million sq m of offices, blending Najdi heritage with modern innovation.
Armani Residences Elevate Luxury Standards
MIPIM 2025 also spotlighted Armani Residences Diriyah—15 bespoke homes curated by Giorgio Armani. This limited-edition project underscores Diriyah’s commitment to blending global luxury with Saudi culture.
Group CEO Jerry Inzerillo stated, “This district positions Diriyah as a global hub for media, tech, and creativity. Our ecosystem will empower pioneers to achieve breakthroughs.” The project aims to create 178,000 jobs, house 100,000 residents, and boost Saudi GDP by $18.6 billion annually.
Office spaces will integrate advanced green technologies, from construction to operations. Diriyah’s blueprint aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, targeting 50 million annual visits and redefining urban living through heritage-inspired innovation.
