His Excellency the Deputy Chief of the Saudi Royal Guard, Lieutenant-General Ahmed bin Saleh Al-Hamdan, inaugurated, Sunday, the awareness exhibition Our House Without Drugs at the headquarters of the Royal Guard Group in the Western Region today and toured the participating sites.
The Commander of the Royal Guard in the Western Sector, Major General Suleiman Al-Hudhaili, welcomed Lieutenant General Al-Hamdan and the participants in the opening ceremony of the first anti-drug awareness exhibition under the slogan (Our Home Without Drugs).
He said that this exhibition will help them, after God Almighty, in carrying out their mission to raise awareness of the harms of drugs, so that the country becomes without drugs. He said that this scourge that is on its way will not know life, as it spoils life and health, and makes you imprisoned for weakness and anxiety as takes you away from your family and loved ones, and throws you into permanent misery.
Major General Al-Hudhaili praised the efforts of the fight against drugs to confront the scourge of drugs and prevent their smuggling to protect our children from this devastating epidemic, as our country is waging a great battle to protect the homeland and the citizen from this scourge. The roots of evil are involved in spreading this scourge.
The exhibition continues until next Thursday and includes 4 daily lectures by specialists about the types of drugs and the most dangerous, modern methods of detecting drugs and deaths caused by drug abuse.
