As India gets ready to host G20 YEA : Meet Prince Fahad Al Saud, Head of the Saudi G20 Young Entrepreneurship Alliance

As India has taken over the G20 Presidency, Young Indians (Yi), a part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), is all set to host the G20 YEA India Summit in Delhi from 13-15 July 2023.

 

The G20 YEA India Summit is expected to witness a strong Saudi presence under the leadership of HRH Prince Fahad bin Mansour bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the President of the Saudi G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance (YEA).

 

The G20 Young Entrepreneur Alliance (YEA) is a global network of approximately 500,000 young entrepreneurs and the organizations that support them.

 

The YEA is a group of organizations from across the G20 that promote youth entrepreneurship as a driver of economic renewal, job creation, innovation, and social change.

 

The YEA convenes each year before the G20 Summit, and its call to the world’s young entrepreneurs to work with global economies to aid recovery from the devastating effects of the pandemic was loud and clear.

 

The G20 YEA promotes youth entrepreneurship as a powerful driver of economic renewal, job creation, innovation, and social change. Each year, the G20 YEA brings together hundreds of the world’s top young entrepreneurs to share their ideas with leading business and political leaders to catalyze global change.

 

The theme of the summit, which was launched at the closing ceremony of the previous summit in Germany, is ‘Hum – Together we are One’. The summit is expected to bring together over 800 changemakers from 20+ nations, creating an atmosphere for immersive learning and networking through a curated series of knowledge sharing.

 

“The summit will have plenty of opportunities to help young entrepreneur companies to grow on an international scale, learn and connect with a global network of young entrepreneurs, government stakeholders, and international experts,” said Mr. Dilip Krishna, National Chairman, Yi.

The summit is expected to bring together over 800 changemakers from 20 nations, creating an atmosphere for immersive learning and networking through a curated series of knowledge sharing. The summit will have plenty of opportunities to help young entrepreneurial companies to grow on an international scale, and learn and connect with a global network of young entrepreneurs, government stakeholders, and international experts, said Krishna. Meet HRH Prince Fahad

 

A serial entrepreneur and investor, the Prince is the President of the Saudi G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance (YEA) and the Founder of Entrepreneurship Vision, a non-governmental organization (NGO) focusing on working with entrepreneurs and supporting the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Entrepreneurship Vision is a member of the YEA.

 

 

Prince Fahad has an extensive track record in launching and accelerating start-ups. He has expanded his business portfolio from digital technology and logistics to encompass enterprises that address the current global and local market needs, paving the way for new ideas and opportunities.

HRH Graduated in 2014 from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, California, with an Entrepreneurship Major.

 

He is also the Founder and CEO of Fayvo, a social platform that is integrated with other platforms to allow you to save and organize all your favorites from books, movies, music, products, and places in one profile.

 

Prince Fahad has also founded Barq, a platform to connect senders with travelers to provide high-speed and secure shipping services with a few easy clicks.

 

Moreover, he is the Founder of EL Domo, a unique venue space for Medium-sized Events, conferences, Forums, Concerts, and more.

Also, HRH is a Partner at ILSA Interactive, a software development company outfitted with an agile yet expert team of professional developers.

 

Recently, HRH Prince Fahad announced the establishment of a technology house in Pakistan to enhance cooperation between the two countries in diverse technical fields, the Future Fest management said.

 

This came during a virtual address to Future Fest stakeholders. The dedicated Saudi-Pakistan Tech House promotes greater ease of doing business.

 

Pakistan’s biggest tech conference, Future Fest 2023 was a three-day event, which began on January 6 and has brought together 50,000 participants and representatives of 500 startups and 200 exhibitors from over 30 countries.

 

The conference, which ended on January 8, featured keynote speeches and discussions by investors, innovators, thought leaders, policymakers, and leading entrepreneurs.

 

This year’s conference is particularly important for Saudi-Pakistan relations since it has brought a bunch of business leaders and entrepreneurs from the kingdom and other Middle East countries.

The Saudi prince is a co-founder of tech giant ILSA Interactive, which was first founded in 2009 by Pakistani entrepreneur Salman Nasir.

 

It stands as a great hallmark of Pakistan-Saudi digital collaboration excellence.

 

“I’m deeply honored to be a part of such a respected and prestigious gathering of the IT industry with thought leaders of Pakistan at the country’s largest tech conference and expo, Future Fest 2023,” the Saudi prince said.

 

“My journey to Pakistan started 5 years ago to explore the possibilities of establishing an IT company in Lahore. Let me say that the resources in Pakistan are very talented in all fields; Technical Resources, User Experience, and Quality Assurance resources have been great to work with.”

 

He further added: “At Future Fest 2023, I am pleased a delegation of Saudi startups & venture capitalists will have a chance to meet Pakistani companies and key stakeholders to explore investments, partnerships, acquisitions, and talent recruitment.”

 

During his address, HRH Prince Fahad bin Mansour Alsaud highlighted the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 roadmap under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman, which has seen the booming of the technology sector along with major new smart cities like NEOM.

 

He emphasized how companies such as ILSA Interactive are reflective of the determination of both Pakistani and Saudi leaders to further deepen an existing strategic relationship in all fields with plans to forge partnerships with IT companies, Universities, and big enterprises in Pakistan.

 

 

Saudi Chapter hosted G20 YEA Saudi Virtual Summit 2020

 

 

Chaired by HRH Prince Fahad Al Saud, the G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance (YEA) 2020 kicked off on October 29th under the theme ‘Entrepreneurship is a Source of Innovation and Resilience.’

 

Local and global speakers took to the stage sharing insights, learnings, and expertise focusing on the summit’s theme which is built on three main topics, namely Entrepreneurship and the Economy, Entrepreneurial Disruption, and Social and Environmental Aspects.

 

“Entrepreneurship is fuelled by innovation and resilience. As we reflect on the economic hardship we have all witnessed and lived through during the COVID-19 pandemic, the year 2020 has showcased the agility of entrepreneurs and start-ups as they seek to develop new opportunities and find creative ways to deliver entrepreneurial excellence,” stated HRH Prince Fahad Al Saud, Chair of G20 YEA Saudi 2020 Summit.

 

The summit was unprecedented as it was hosted virtually across the globe bringing together hundreds of the world’s top young entrepreneurs to issue a communique to G20 Leaders. As is the case with each G20 Leaders’ summit, the G20 YEA Summit takes place in a different country every year, by rotation of member countries.

 

The summit began with the handover of the chairmanship from Japan to the incoming G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance and KSA Summit Chair H.R.H. Prince Fahad bin Mansour bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, followed by the Summit Partner presentation by Armen Ovanessof, Principal Director of Accenture and Francis Hintermann, Global Managing Director of Accenture. After which they moderated a panel session titled ‘Pivotal Adaptation to COVID-19.’ Taking part in the panel will be Kitty C. Liao, Founder and CEO of IDEABATIC Ltd., Michele Frisoli, CEO of Manta Group, and Louis Debouzy, Founder and CEO of Hello Medical.
