After 17 months of suspension, Saudi schools resume education in classes

More than half a million Saudi instructors returned to their school this morning after the Saudi Ministry of Education announced its decision to stop classes from Monday, February 26, 2021, until further notice.

The school interruption had lasted more than 17 months.

A lot of teachers expressed their delight at the students’ return to the classrooms and competition halls.

They praised the efforts made to make their attendance return safe and sound, in a healthy and suitable school environment to continue studying.

The teachers stated that the Ministry of Education has harnessed all its energies to make the educational process successful in light of the Corona pandemic.

They praised the government for providing vaccinations for the safe return of students, and for equipping educational facilities with the highest standards.

Education administrations in Saudi Arabia have directed school preparation to receive students for the new academic year 2022

This year, it will be in attendance, and the government has coordinated efforts to take all precautionary measures.

Teachers, whom Al Arabiya.net met, confirmed that great efforts were made within months between the ministries of health and education; to return to normal life in public education schools in its intermediate and secondary stages.
