Saudi Physics Team Shines with 4 Medals at 2025 International Olympiad

The Saudi National Physics Team earned four medals at the 55th International Physics Olympiad (IPhO), held in Paris, France, from July 17 to 25. The prestigious competition brought together 425 students from 85 countries.
Mazen Al-Shakhs secured a silver medal, while Hussein Al-Saleh, Mohammed Al-Arfaj, and Ali Al-Hassan each claimed a bronze medal for their outstanding performances.

This success raises Saudi Arabia’s overall IPhO medal count to seven silver and 23 bronze medals, along with 22 certificates of appreciation.
The achievement reflects the rigorous training and preparation provided by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and with the exclusive support of Saudi Aramco.
