Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa welcomed his Palestinian Counterpart Mahmoud Abbas and his delegation today, April 18, at the People’s Palace in Damascus, according to SANA.
Upon his arrival at the presidential terminal of Damascus International Airport, President Abbas received warm welcome from Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani and several members of the Palestinian Embassy staff in Syria.
During the visit, both al-Sharaa and Abbas will discuss latest regional developments and several issues of mutual concern.
