Kawaken

A homegrown entertainment experience that takes visitors on a fascinating journey through a mystical world featuring a wide array of thrilling rides, entertainment attractions, and interactive challenges. It includes 7-9 games, in addition to a e-games zone and dedicated spaces for dining and celebrations.

The zone also features Kawaken Junior – a special kids area with three main games in a safe area for children.

Golfi

A modern indoor golf experience featuring 12 interactive holes suitable for all ages. Harnessing interactive elements and modern tech, such as Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology for automatic score tracking, Golfi allows amateurs to compete and test their skills.

Cyber Bowling

SEVEN’s Expansion Strategy

The Context: SEVEN, wholly owned by Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC), is a premier developer and operator of integrated entertainment destinations. It supports the Fund’s mandate to create a sustainable entertainment, leisure and sports sector, in line with the Quality of Life Program and Saudi Vision 2030 objectives to create a vibrant society.

Go Deeper: As part of its expansion strategy, SEVEN has opened two indoor entertainment destinations in Abha and Tabuk. More projects are underway in several Saudi cities, including Riyadh, Al-Madinah, Al-Hamra, Jazan, Makkah, Taif, Dammam, Al-Khobar, Al-Ahsa, and Yanbu. It collaborates with global brands, such as Mattel, Hasbro, and Warner Bros. Discovery, to bring world-class entertainment to Saudi Arabia.

The Catalyst: Under Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia’s entertainment sector has become a core pillar for boosting community wellbeing, attracting global talent, and diversifying the economy.

Spearheaded by the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), Saudi Arabia’s entertainment sector has become a key driving force behind the major strides achieved by the Quality of Life Program, anchored in multiple strategic initiatives and diverse events that offered expanded leisure options and elevated residents’ quality of life.

Catch Up Quick: Since GEA’s launch in 2016, it has attracted more than 320 million visitors to attend over 60 entertainment seasons and programs.

Reality Check: The Quality of Life Annual Report 2025 unveiled a rapidly expanding entertainment and hobbies sector under Vision 2030:

  • 954 Entertainment Venues: Includes theme parks, amusement parks, and event facilities – surpassing the 942 target and marking a massive leap from the 154 venue baseline in 2017.
  • 40 Unique Global Events: Major international entertainment titles hosted across the Kingdom, meeting the 2025 target (up from 14 in 2018).
