Saudi Cabinet Vows Unyielding Action to Protect Kingdom’s Security, Stability

The Saudi Cabinet chaired by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud affirmed on Tuesday that the Kingdom will never hesitate to take all measures necessary to protect its security, preserve stability, and safeguard citizens and residents.

In an official statement, the ministers declared that “Saudi Arabia will never hesitate to take all measures deemed necessary to protect its security, preserve its stability, and safeguard the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory,” the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

Boosting Regional Alliances

Additionally, the Cabinet backed the decisions of the recent emergency meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) interior ministers. Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif led the Kingdom’s delegation at that summit in Riyadh.

The participants at the regional summit declared Gulf security as indivisible, also agreeing to boost joint security coordination to counter rapid regional challenges. Consequently, Riyadh continues to play a stabilizing role in the wider Middle East.

The Council of Ministers reviewed recent regional developments and their impact on international stability. Consequently, leaders expressed appreciation for statements from friendly nations condemning Iranian attacks targeting Saudi Arabia, GCC states, and Jordan.

Furthermore, the Cabinet reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s full solidarity with brotherly countries facing aggression. The Kingdom stands ready to mobilize all capabilities in support of legitimate defensive measures that uphold regional security

Welcoming Global Pilgrims

Meanwhile, the Cabinet assessed the latest operational preparations for the upcoming Hajj season, as the ministers reviewed the ongoing progress of the Pilgrim Experience Program, a key pillar of Saudi Vision 2030.

Specifically, they praised the Makkah Route Initiative for its outstanding success. This pre-clearance program allows pilgrims to complete immigration procedures at their home airports. To date, more than 1.2 million pilgrims from ten countries have benefited from this service. Ultimately, these steps ensure maximum comfort for visitors to the Two Holy Mosques.
