Arts AlUla has unveiled Arduna (Our Land), a landmark exhibition presented as part of the fifth AlUla Arts Festival 2026. The exhibition marks a pivotal moment in AlUla’s cultural evolution, offering an early insight into the vision for the forthcoming Contemporary Art Museum of AlUla.
At the exhibition’s opening, Arts AlUla formally announced the museum’s name and long-term vision, positioning it as a global platform for contemporary art and cultural dialogue grounded in AlUla’s rich historical and natural heritage. The museum is scheduled to open at a later date.
Developed in collaboration with the Centre Pompidou, Arduna serves as a foundational, research-led exhibition that introduces the curatorial philosophy and cultural ambitions of the future museum. Through thematic exploration, it also reflects the institution’s anticipated role within the international contemporary art landscape.
The Contemporary Art Museum of AlUla is envisioned as a dynamic space that bridges heritage and contemporary practice.
