2023 Saudi Toyota Desert Rally Championship Concludes Today
The 2023 Saudi Toyota Desert Rally Championship, organized by the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, concluded today, reported Saudi Press Agency. This championship is the largest motorsport event in the Kingdom, marking a significant shift in local racing.
Winners Crowned in Jeddah Toyota Rally 2023
Sattam AlHozami, CEO of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, awarded winners in various categories of the Jeddah Toyota Rally 2023. The event was held in King Abdullah Economic City.
Victorious Competitors in Various Categories
Yazeed Al-Rajhi clinched the title in the “T1 B” category, leading the standings after the second stage. Lionel Baud took second place. Khaled Al-Feraihi won the “T1” category.
Other Category Winners
Jaafar Al-Qahtani secured the “T2” category title, ahead of Khaled Al-Hamzani and Abdullah Dabshi Al-Send. In the “T3” category, Saleh Abdullah Al-Saif triumphed over Dania Akeel and Nicola Cavagliasso. Yasser Bin Seidan soared to the top in the “T4” category, with Maha Al-Hamli and Abdullah Al-Shaqawi following. Teruhito Sugawara claimed the “T5” category, ahead of Ibrahim Al-Muhna and Tareq Al-Ramah.
Motorcycle Category Winners
In the motorcycle categories, Haitham Al-Tuwaijri won the quads title, followed by Hani Al-Noumsi and Emil Stieknz. Badr Al-Hamdan clinched the title in the motorcycles under 450cc category, ahead of Abdulhalim Al-Mugheera and Mishal Al-Ghuneim. Philipp Hohrleman topped the motorcycles over 450cc category.
Jeddah Toyota Rally: The Final Round
Jeddah Toyota Rally, the final round of the 2023 Saudi Toyota Desert Rally Championship, is organized by the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation. Partners include Abdul Latif Jameel Motors, the Ministry of Sports, and the Saudi Investment Bank.
