The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has reminded businesses subject to Value-Added Tax (VAT) with annual supplies exceeding SAR 40 million to submit their VAT returns for September 2025, while those with lower annual supplies are required to file for the third quarter of 2025 by October 31.
ZATCA encouraged all taxpayers to file their returns promptly through its official website (zatca.gov.sa) or the ZATCA app to avoid late-filing penalties ranging from 5% to 25% of the tax due.
For further assistance or inquiries, taxpayers can contact ZATCA’s 24-hour call center (19993), reach out via X (@Zatca_Care), email info@zatca.gov.sa, or use the live chat feature on the website.
VAT is an indirect tax applied to most goods and services sold and purchased within the Kingdom, with specific exemptions as outlined by the authority.
