The Point Project in Abha, KSA: A Visionary Development for the Future

The Point, a mixed-use development project in Abha, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stands as a testament to the region’s commitment to growth and modernization. This ambitious project is set to transform the landscape of Abha.
Moreover, the project will contribute significantly to the area’s economic and social dynamism.

Spanning 20 acres, The Point is a comprehensive development plan encompassing retail, residential, hospitality, entertainment, and food and beverage services. The design is centered around a grand central public space that includes a dynamic water feature and an outdoor amphitheater.

This space is surrounded by cafes and retail outlets, making it a hub for leisure and shopping. The project is unique in its utilization of the site’s elevation changes, incorporating terraced levels that offer panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

In addition, the development includes 43,000 square meters of retail, food and beverage, and entertainment area, a 126-room 4-star business hotel, and a 120-unit serviced apartment building.

It will also provide 1,200 parking stalls to accommodate its diverse uses.

Vision and Objectives

Furthermore, the project is a strategic partnership between the Red Sea Markets Company Ltd, Asir and the Tourism Development Fund.

It is worthy to mention that the Red Sea Markets Company, part of the SEDCO Holding Group, aims to replicate the success of its Red Sea Mall in Jeddah and establish The Point as the leading tourist destination in the Asir Region for shopping, entertainment, and recreation.

The Point project is more than just a commercial development; it is a vision for the future. It aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. It will steer the Kingdom’s goal of becoming a global tourism hub.

Also, the project is expected to drive economic growth in the region, create job opportunities, and offer a high-quality lifestyle to residents and visitors alike.
