6 steps Egyptian travelers to Saudi Arabia should take
Vice President of the General Federation of Egyptians in Saudi Arabia, Adel Hanafi, detailed the necessary steps for Egyptian travelers intending to visit Saudi Arabia.
Hanafi specified six procedures that must be done before going and upon arrival in Saudi Arabia, in statements to the newspaper, in conjunction with the start of Saudi Arabia receiving the first flights from Egypt:
1- Obtaining a smear (PCR) for the Corona virus 72 hours prior to departure.
2- Before travelling, register on the “Quddum Platform” (Arrival Platform).
3- Make a 5-day reservation at one of the Saudi Ministry of Health-approved hotels to spend the institutional quarantine there.
4- If he has been vaccinated with one of Saudi Arabia’s recognised immunizations, he must get a thorough certificate (QR).
5- the vaccinated traveler should quarantined for three days, provided that a PCR smear is performed 48 hours after arrival, and if the swab is negative on the third day, he can resume his normal activities.
6- On the fifth day of institutional quarantine, performing PCR.
“A very good step for members of the Egyptian community in Saudi Arabia, or even Egyptian travelers outside the Kingdom who aspire to come to it,” Hanafi said of the new direct flights between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
