The STC group expanded the coverage of network in Two Holy Mosques. This is a part of its operational preparations for the blessed month of Ramadan 1445H. This initiative aims to offer advanced digital services to the Holy Mosque visitors in Mecca and Medina. This aligns with KSA’s efforts to offer the highest quality services to the guests of the Most Merciful.
Coverage of Network in Two Holy Mosques Ensures Network Readiness
The preparations involved inspecting all network components and systems to guarantee their readiness for quality data and voice transmission. Additionally, The group secured the necessary professional human resources to monitor network performance and carry out corrective operations around the clock during the holy month. Daily monitoring teams were intensified to inspect the coaxial cable paths and ensure their integrity. Moreover, emergency systems and equipment were secured according to global plans to ensure optimal network performance and service reliability.
Coverage of Network in Two Holy Mosques Enhances Digital Experience
In its leadership role for the current Ramadan season, the STC group commits to enriching the experience for Mecca and Medina’s guests of the Most Merciful. This commitment manifests in the execution of over 997 development operations across its towers, enhancing 4th and 5th generation network efficiency.
The group aims to accommodate the largest number of visitors from the company’s clients and clients of other operators coming from outside KSA. This includes the expansion and addition of new bands to the 5G network such as N77, N78, N40, and N28, which also strives to increase the network’s speed and improve user experience.
Also, provision of additional L900 frequency band network has enhanced the efficiency of the fourth generation. STC group completed the internal solutions project for hotels and hospitals to enhance network performance and customer experience. This reflects the digital evolution that KSA is undergoing. Furthermore, it highlights the special services provided to visitors and those heading to the Holy Mosques.
Digital Infrastructure Readiness for Umrah Season
The STC Group continues to work on ensuring the readiness of the digital infrastructure for the Grand Mosque and its surrounding areas to serve the millions during the Umrah season. All sites in Mecca are being prepared for Umrah performers and visitors to improve digital service quality.
