Saudi’s GACA plans to restructure domestic air travel fares
The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) announced that it has taken measures to review the price structure of air transport tickets and increase seat capacity and the number of flights.
“GACA recently noticed a change in the price pattern of some air tickets, and it followed with interest the information circulating about the prices of domestic air tickets.” a statement released through Twitter said.
it continued, “As a result, the authority, has taken a package of direct measures that will result in a review of the air transport pricing structure and an increase in seat capacity and the number of flights.”
The Civil Aviation Authority indicated that these measures aim to ensure the provision of appropriate prices for passengers.
it also aims to enhance competitiveness in the air transport sector, and emphasize that the principle of passenger rights and protection is a top priority to which the authority is committed.”
