Saudi workers in guided transport sector to get $640 monthly
The Saudi Public Transportation Authority urged residents to take advantage of the “guided transport” self-employment support program, which targets full-time workers in the passenger transportation industry, as well as job seekers, through the app
The support is provided by the Human Resources Development Fund “Hadaf” as part of one of the fund’s projects targeted at increasing Emiratisation levels by meeting the needs in this activity and developing new job opportunities based on various work patterns.
The authority explained that it had approved 17 applications to qualify applicants for this initiative and to provide the opportunity for young men and girls to benefit from the monthly support of up to 2,400 riyals upon completing 42 trips per month.
Applicants can register in one of the applications approved by the Public Transport Authority and verify the requirements of the program and fulfill its conditions:
The applicant must be a Saudi who is not a government employee and does not hold a commercial register, as well as register on the Human Resources Fund’s Taqat platform and receive a self-employment document via the self-employment portal.
