The Social Responsibility Association in Riyadh has organized the second Social Responsibility Forum to support sustainable development and Vision 2030, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Held on Saudi Social Responsibility Day on March 23, the forum stressed the significance of social responsibility in strengthening community development and sustainable growth.
Furthermore, the event basically sought to boost the role of companies in supporting this concept and contributing to societal, economic, and environmental development.
Speaking at the forum, Saud Al-Subaie, the association’s chairman, emphasized the need for integrated efforts across all the Kingdom’s sectors to elevate social responsibility.
Al-Subaie also underscored the complementary roles of the government, private, as well as nonprofit sectors in creating a positive impact on society and the economy.
Meanwhile, Abdullah Al-Muhanna, the association’s CEO, stressed its dedication to signing effective partnerships and spreading social responsibility.
Al-Muhanna also stated that the occasion serves as a valuable platform to spread values of generosity and solidarity, while fostering institutional contributions to community service.
Through two panel discussions, the forum delved into the role of the government, private, and nonprofit sectors in activating social responsibility.
Importantly, the event tackled methods for measuring social responsibility outcomes and adopting impactful programs.
Interestingly, the event honored the Princess Al-Anoud Charity Foundation for its great contributions to community initiatives and sustainable development.
