Saudi Minister of Health inaugurates a new Covid-19 Vaccine Center in Jeddah

The Saudi Minister of Health, Dr Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, inaugurated the Corona Vaccine Center in the presence of the Director of Health Affairs in Jeddah, Dr Mishaal bin Misfer Al-Siyali, and several health leaders as part of the national campaign to combat the coronavirus pandemic.

The inauguration of the centre comes due to the increasing demand for registration in the My Health application.

The new centre will increase the volume of those to be vaccinated, thus facilitating the access of citizens and residents.

The place is equipped with all essential services and with a design that allows receiving large numbers of beneficiaries in an organized and easy way, as the centre includes 60 clinics.

The expected capacity reaches 15,000 beneficiaries per day, and an elite group of specialized medical cadres and crews work in line with precautionary and preventive measures.

Health care Inspection

The Saudi Minister of Health visit to the Corona Vaccine Center at King Abdulaziz Hospital in Jeddah came as part of a comprehensive inspection. 

He checked the East Jeddah General Hospital accompanied by the Director of Jeddah Health and was assured of the workflow in the hospital. He also visited the emergency and physiotherapy departments and the Respiratory Care Center.

The Minister listened to a detailed explanation of the services provided to patients and the efforts being made to serve them. Finally, he visited the General Medical Authority and was briefed on its work progress.
