Tilal Real Estates has launched the Heart of Khobar (HOK), a $1.63 billion luxury mixed-use project in Saudi Arabia. The development, unveiled at the Cityscape Global exhibition in Riyadh, aims to enhance urban living in Khobar.
Located in the Al Rawabi neighborhood, the project spans 268,813 square meters, promoting a sustainable and pedestrian-friendly environment. It aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, targeting integrated urban living solutions.
The HOK project will be built in three phases, offering residential units, offices, hotels, and recreational facilities. This phased approach ensures the design meets the community’s diverse needs effectively.
Amenities include a shopping mall, business park, community center, cinema, hotels, serviced apartments, co-working spaces, and recreational venues. These features aim to create a vibrant environment for residents and visitors alike.
Enhancing Quality of Life and Sustainability
CEO Abdulrahman Al-Bassam emphasized that HOK represents a step toward smart, integrated cities in Saudi Arabia. He highlighted the project’s focus on combining sustainability, comfort, and luxury for an exceptional living experience.
The design prioritizes pedestrians, enabling up to 89% mobility on foot. This approach improves public health, encourages social interaction, and minimizes car dependency for daily activities.
Supporting Vision 2030 and Urban Transformation
The Heart of Khobar embodies the concept of an “urban village,” integrating residential, commercial, and recreational elements. It aims to position Khobar as a premier destination for living and investment.
Al-Bassam expressed optimism about HOK’s role in transforming Khobar into a model of sustainable urban development. The project seeks to attract residents and investors while achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 objectives.
