The Saudi Deputy Defense Minister, Prince Khalid bin Salman, conducted an inspection visit to the headquarters of the Saudi Infantry Forces, to determine the level of their readiness.
He added in a tweet through his official account on Twitter, Wednesday: “In an implementation of the directives of His Highness, the Crown Prince, I paid an inspection visit to the headquarters of the Royal Saudi Infantry Forces.”
He continued, “I stood at the level of readiness that these forces have reached in terms of developing and modernizing armaments and training in a way that enhances the efficiency of the combat system for all branches of the armed forces.”
The Saudi Deputy Defense Minister had earlier visited the Presidency of the General Staff of the Armed Forces and the Joint Forces Command and met with its employees to “emphasize the high readiness of our armed forces and the development they have reached, to serve our religion, our king and our country,” according to what he explained in a tweet.
Prince Khalid bin Salman stated that during the visit, he was briefed on all military and defense aspects to achieve the interests and objectives of our dear country, in addition to praising the efforts of the coalition forces to support legitimacy in Yemen in the ongoing operations they are leading.
He discussed ways to support and strengthen them to ensure the security and stability of the region.
