Saudi Culture Ministry organizes a meeting for scholarship opportunities to study music

The Saudi Ministry of Culture, in cooperation with the Saudi Music Authority, organized recently a video conference on the cultural scholarship program.

 

The program is designed to communicate with participants interested in continuing their education and refining their academic skills.

 

The meeting began with an introduction to the cultural scholarship program that was announced in December 2019, while the registration page for it was launched in January 2020.

 

This program provides Saudi students, who have obtained prior admission, and who are studying independently in all subject fields, with qualitative opportunities.

 

The meeting touched on the international universities targeted by the program, which number 49 universities and prestigious international educational institutions.

 

The meeting hosted one of the students enrolled in the cultural scholarship program in the field of music. He talked about his experience, starting with communicating with universities to obtain admission.

 

During the meeting, the Music Authority reviewed its strategy, which was built on a vision that seeks to create and empower the music industry in the Kingdom.

 

 

The authority has made benchmark comparisons for more than 20 countries, aiming to identify the highest international practices for the development of the sector.

 

The authority confirmed that the “educational aspect” is one of the most significant pillars of the operational model that was built to enable its strategy to contribute to achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

 

The meeting witnessed answers to attendees’ most pertinent questions, most of which revolved around the most relevant required disciplines.

 

The meeting comes within a series of periodic meetings held by the Ministry of Culture to communicate with interested specialists in order to introduce the cultural scholarship program.
