Saudi Crown Prince, Pakistani PM Discuss Bilateral Ties on FII9 Sidelines

The Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Salman, met on Monday with the Pakistani Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, and his accompanying delegation in Riyadh, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative Conference (FII9), running from October 27-30, 2025, at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center.

During the meeting, the Saudi Crown Prince and Pakistan’s Prime Minister reviewed bilateral relations and explored avenues for enhancing cooperation across various fields.

The Pakistani Prime Minister, for his part, said that he and the Saudi Crown Prince “reaffirmed the enduring strength of the Pakistan–Saudi Arabia brotherly bonds and discussed ways to further expand this historic and time-tested partnership in trade, investment, and economic cooperation.”

Moreover, Sharif expressed his gratitude for the Crown Prince’s “personal commitment and resolute support in advancing our shared vision for deeper collaboration and prosperity for our two nations and peoples.”

On the sidelines of FII9, the Saudi Crown Prince received several global leaders, including the presidents of Kosovo, Guyana, Bulgaria, Mauritania and Rwanda. He also met with the Prime Ministers of Montenegro and Albania.

Held under the theme “The Key to Prosperity,” FII9 brings together influential leaders, investors, policymakers, CEOs, and innovators from across the world to forge the key to global prosperity, unlocking new solutions and pathways forward.

In its ninth edition, the FII gathers more than 20 world leaders for the largest economic platform in the region, expecting investments to surpass the previous edition’s $60 billion.
