Saudi Crown Prince meets the Presidents of France & Indonesia on APEC Sidelines

The Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, met with the French President, Emmanuel Macron, and Joko Widodo, President of the Republic of Indonesia, in the Thai capital, Bangkok.

The Saudi Crown Prince’s meetings came on the sidelines of his participation in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum (APEC) summit, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman arrived in Thailand on Thursday, on an official visit from South Korea, and was received by Thai Prime Minister Prayuth Chan Ocha.

For his part, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Thailand, Abdul Rahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Suhaibani, told the Saudi Press Agency that the visit of the Crown Prince will witness the signing of several agreements and memorandums of understanding in several fields. It will contribute to strengthening cooperation and partnership relations between the two countries.

The presidential palace in South Korea also announced that President Yun Sok Yul had expressed to the Saudi crown prince his hope that the two countries would expand cooperation in the fields of infrastructure, defense industries, and other sectors, describing the Kingdom as a major partner for his country in the economy and energy security.
