Saudi Crown Prince Meets House Lawmakers at US Capitol

The Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Salman, visited the US Congress on Wednesday as part of his official visit to the US, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

During his visit to the Capitol, the Saudi Crown Prince held expanded bilateral meetings with US House lawmakers and committee members, including the House Speaker, Mike Johnson.

Following the visit, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will head to the Kennedy Center in Washington, where he is set take part in the Saudi-US Investment Forum.

The Saudi Investment Minister, Khalid Al-Falih, announced that both the Saudi Crown Prince and the US President, Donald Trump, will address the forum’s participants.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman arrived in Washington on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 for an official working visit. Upon his arrival to the White House, President Trump received the Crown Prince with a lavish welcome ceremony.

The two leaders held a meeting at the White House, after which they announced the signing of a “historic” Saudi-US Strategic Defense Agreement that strengthens the bilateral defense partnership and bolsters deterrence across the Middle East.

Moreover, Trump approved a major defense sale to the Kingdom, including future F-35 deliveries. Other agreements signed included the Civil Nuclear Cooperation Agreement, an AI Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), and a Critical Minerals Framework.
