Saudi Arabia ranks second globally for the best 5G network coverage.

With a coverage percentage of 26.6 percent of the population, the Saudi Kingdom was placed second in the world on the list of countries with the best 5G network coverage.

According to “Open Signal” data, eight nations were included on the list from June 1 to August 29, 2021, including two Arab countries: the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, which came in the third position with a coverage rate of 26.3 percent of the population.

South Korea topped the list, with coverage of 28.2% of the population, according to the graph prepared by the German “Statista”.

Hong Kong ranked fourth in the world in terms of 5G network coverage, with 25.3% of its population.

The United States of America came in fifth place, with 20.8 percent of its population having access to 5G networks, followed by Thailand (18.3%), Taiwan (15.8%), and Italy (14.9%).

According to the same data, all countries showed almost complete coverage of 4G networks, during the period from January 1 to March 30 of last year.
