Saudi Arabia beats Australia in the World Cup qualifiers

The Saudi team beat Australia 1-0 in the match between the two teams at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium (Al Jawhara Al Moshaa),

this match was part of the tenth round of Group B in the Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup that will be held in Qatar next November.

Salem Al-Dosari scored the Saudi national team’s goal from a penalty kick in the 65th minute of the match.

The Saudi national team qualified for the World Cup from the last round for the sixth time in its history in one of the happy surprises for the Arab masses.

With this result, the Saudi national team continued to lead the Asian qualifiers for Group B with 23 points collected from winning 7 matches, drawing 2, and losing one match, scoring 12 goals and receiving 6.

The balance of the Australian team stopped in third place in the Asian qualifiers table for Group Two, with 15 points collected from winning 4 matches, drawing 3, and losing the same, scoring 15 goals and receiving 9.
