The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen said that all futile attempts to target civilians were confronted and thwarted.
It is noteworthy that the coalition had reported yesterday, Friday, that it had thwarted a hostile attempt to attack a Saudi commercial ship with a drone.
The coalition noted the continued threat of Houthi militias and Iranian support to global shipping lines.
The coalition affirmed that its efforts contributed to securing freedom of navigation and the safety of ships transiting the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced, last Saturday, that the Saudi defenses had intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched by the Houthi militia towards Jazan, southern Saudi Arabia.
It said that the attempts of the Houthi militia to target civilian objects and civilians were repelled and destroyed.
For a while, this militia has continued its attempts to target civilian objects in the Kingdom, in attempts that drew condemnation from several Arab and Western countries, stressing their support for the Kingdom and its security, denouncing the terrorist attacks of the Houthis.
