Royal Air Force Commander Sponsors “Lance al-Nasr 1” Exercise Closing Day

HRH, Lieutenant General Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force, recently sponsored the activities of the closing day of the Lance al-Nasr 1 exercise, which was held at the Air War Center at King Abdulaziz Air Base in the Eastern Sector.
The events witnessed the application of many air tactics, with the coordination and distinct participation of the branches of the participating forces, performing a high level of readiness in planning, preparation and implementation.
It achieved a major shift in the method of joint air, sea and land work among all the branches of the participating armed forces, and, in turn, the forces participating in the exercise showed distinguished high-quality capabilities and the high professionalism of the armed forces .

His Highness the Commander of the Air Force expressed his happiness with what he saw during the conclusion of the exercise.
Usually, the exercise that is carried out under the umbrella of the Air War Center is the first exercise and subsequent exercises will be based on it.
He added that the exercise was carried out with the participation of the branches of the armed forces despite the many requests received from a number of brotherly and friendly countries to participate in this exercise, but the recommendation was issued to brief this exercise to the exclusive participation of the Saudi armed forces only.
Coming up ahead, it will build on this success in the upcoming exercises indicating that the exercise consisted of three phases. The objectives of all phases were successfully achieved. The general focus was on the use of modern systems and weapons that had recently joined the Air Force, and the focus in this exercise was on conventional and unconventional operations.
He indicated that the transfer to the final air war center will take place during the last quarter of this year, as many facilities related to the air war center have been completed, including the shooting range and the electronic war field.
His Highness praised the support and guidance the Air Force finds from the wise leadership to bring it to the highest levels of combat capacity and readiness. The activities of the closing day were attended by a number of air force officers and sectors of the armed forces in the Eastern Province.
