
Riyadh, is hosting today a UAE trade delegation consisting of more than 100 leading Emirati companies to participate in the third Saudi-Emirati Economic Forum. The event is organized by the Federation of Saudi Chambers and attended by the Minister of Economy and Planning, Faisal bin Fadel Al-Ibrahim, along with the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, and the UAE Minister of Economy, Abdullah bin Touq Al-Marri.
The forum is being held with the support of the leadership of both countries to enhance partnership and economic integration between the Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates. It also builds on the outcomes of the joint mechanism between the two nations within the “Strategy of Resolve.”
It aims to provide an exceptional model of integration and cooperation through the implementation of strategic projects. The first forum was held in Abu Dhabi in 2018, and the second in Riyadh in 2019.
It is noteworthy that the volume of trade exchange between the Kingdom and the Emirates reached 112 billion riyals in 2023, of which 62 billion riyals are Saudi exports, and 50 billion riyals are Emirati imports.
