Rehabilitation Center in Taizz Serves 410 Yemenis
The prosthetic limbs and rehabilitation center in Taizz Governorate provided its various medical services to 410 Yemeni patients who lost their limbs in January 2024. This was supported by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, reported Saudi Press Agency.
During the project, 1,688 services were provided. Males constituted 64% of the beneficiaries while females represented 36%. Displaced individuals accounted for 10% and residents 90% of the those who benefited from the prosthetic limbs and rehabilitation center in Taizz .
From January 24 to February 3, 2024, 120 individuals benefited from KSrelief’s efforts.
The epidemic disease control clinic served 46 patients, while the emergency clinic served 21 cases.
KSA Commitment to Yemen’s Peace
In a recent statement, the Saudi Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman Al Saud once again underscored the Kingdom’s steadfast commitment to finding a political solution to the ongoing conflict in Yemen.
This declaration reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s approach towards promoting peace and stability in the region, emphasizing dialogue and negotiation over military intervention. The minister’s remarks came at a crucial time as international efforts to resolve the Yemeni crisis gain momentum.

Accordingly, the Saudi Defense Minister’s message was clear: the Kingdom has deeply invested in the pursuit of a peaceful resolution to the Yemen conflict.
This commitment aligns with Saudi Arabia’s broader strategic interests in ensuring regional stability and preventing further humanitarian crises.
Furthermore, the minister highlighted the importance of collaboration with international partners to facilitate a comprehensive political dialogue.
