Real Madrid Wins 15th Champions League

Real Madrid has defeated Borussia Dortmund 2-0 and won the Champions League for the 15th time.

The Wembley Stadium in the English capital, London, hosted the match between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final today, Saturday with a record number of more than 2,500 stewards were in place.

The Spanish club reached the final after defeating Bayern Munich in the semi -finals, while the German club raised eyebrows by reaching the final at the expense of Paris Saint –Germain.

The first half ended in a negative tie. In the second half, Real Madrid goalkeeper prevented a goal from Dortmund. In the 74th minute, Carvajal’s header ended in the net of Dortmund, marking Real Madrid’s first goal. Later on, Vinicius Junior scored Real Madrid’s second goal in the 83rd minute. Dortmund’s Volcog scored a goal, but was canceled due to infiltration.

Real Madrid, has now won their last nine European Cup finals and won the competition six times in the last 11 seasons. The team’s coach Carlo Ancelotti also established himself as the most successful coach in the competition’s history thanks to his fifth title.
