Princess Reema: Vision 2030 has created more opportunities for Saudi women

The Saudi ambassador to the USA, Princess Rima, affirmed that the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 has contributed to creating more opportunities for women in the KSA.

She urged Saudi women to take advantage of programs designed to enhance their skills in various economic sectors. According to the Saudi Press Agency SPA, that came in her speech during the workshop on Stimulating Women’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Saudi Arabia, hosted by the Empowering the Middle East initiative of the Atlantic Council.

Princess Rima bint Bandar also praised the economic and social reforms in Saudi Arabia, which contributed to enhancing commercial opportunities for women-owned enterprises.

She stressed that the reforms led by the Crown Prince have contributed to the implementation of historic steps in various fields, especially in enhancing opportunities and the support system for women entrepreneurs.

She explained that in the current digital economy era, new sectors and opportunities are created. The scope of women’s work is being expanded daily. She looks forward to the participation of more Saudi women in occupying leadership positions.

This year, the workshop is the first of five seminars hosted by the Atlantic Council’s Middle East Empowerment Initiative. It aims to connect business leaders and entrepreneurs in the United States of America and Saudi Arabia to expand opportunities and build relationships between workers in the trade sector from the two countries.
