Niger, situated in West Africa, plays a crucial role as a bridge between the Arab and African worlds. The country has a rich Islamic history, with Islam being the predominant religion.

The Saudi Ambassador to Niger Zaid bin Mukhled Al-Harbi hosted a Ramadan Iftar dinner three weeks ago, reported Saudi Press Agency. His Excellency the Nigerien Foreign Minister Kalla Ankourao Sangaré along with a number of ministers and officials, as well as ambassadors of Arab and Islamic countries accredited to the Republic of Niger attended the dinner.

During the dinner, Al-Harbi congratulated the attendees on the blessed month of Ramadan, praying that Allah would bring it back to everyone with blessings and prosperity.

Besides Niger, the Kingdom enjoys bilateral relations with several African nations. Earlier this year, Dr. Bello Mohammed, the Minister of State for Defense of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, paid a significant visit to the Hira Cultural District in Mecca.

During his tour, Dr. Mohammed explored various sections of the exhibition. Each section was dedicated to different aspects of Islamic and Saudi culture. He observed traditional Saudi architecture and artifacts that reflect the deep historical roots of the region. The Minister was particularly impressed by the blend of modern technology with traditional elements in the exhibition.

He also praised the scientific and technological content of the exhibition. He noted the use of interactive displays and multimedia presentations.
